Ocean experience

We spent our last day of our vacation driving on the beach at Surfside & swimming at Galveston Island. Jon and I were sad because it was the end of a much needed time away and we really could've used another week! Our nerves were a little shot that day because it didn't go as we expected. Josiah pooped all over himself and the car seat on the way to Galveston. We had to pull over and use the 5 wipes that I had to clean him up. We ended up throwing his outfit away because it was so bad. He had his hands in it, too!!! NASTAAAY! And then I had to use "armor all" wipes to clean the mess out of his carseat. And of course...mommy lost it! But after my tantrum, we changed and went for a swim in the ocean....also to "clean off". Ackkkk! It was short and sweet. They all had fun. Jon nearly "lost it" himself because he got in the ocean with his BAD sunburn and the sand & salt caused him to go into an itching frenzy! It was pretty embarrassing at the time but now that I look back at it, I laugh! He was rubbing handfulls of aloe all over his chest to try to stop the itching.....and it didn't work. So, to top it all off we got back in the "stench filled" car and headed back to his mom and dad's without getting to eat out on the seawall. However....we did get to stop at "Jack in the Box"....lol
Anyway, that was our day, goofy as it may be. But we managed to pull a little fun out of the day and got some good pics!
